It's here! The 2022 Texas Cavers Calendar!

Every few years, Texas cave photographers put out a cave calendar. We have calendars for 2004, 2005, 2010, 2018, and now 2022! While the first few were just for fun, the later calendars have been produced with the purpose of supporting the Texas Cave Management Association (TCMA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to protect and conserve caves in Texas.

This isn’t a profit game for all the photographers and models who helped make these calendars possible—it’s a labor of love. Your purchase gets you 12 months of incredible cave photos, and it helps support cave conservation and education.

Isn’t that great? Buy your copy today!

All profits for this product and other select items benefit the Texas Cave Management Association. Over $3,000 in support so far!

  1. Dear Bennett,
I am trying to track down an old photo from a caving convention held at Schreiner College in Kerrville. The convention was probably in the mid-1990s, but I can’t be certain. A photographer brought a large wooden box to the convention and photographed individual people supporting themselves various ways in the box. Pretty fun, but my picture was later ruined, so I’d like to find the photographer in case he still has the collection. Are you able to help me in making the contact?

    1. I know right away who you’re talking about. That wooden box belonged to famed photographer Ernie Garza. He took it everywhere and had so many unique shots of people in that simple box.

Unfortunately, Ernie passed away a few years ago. I’ll ask around and see if I can find out who is curating his photography collection.
